MRS. AMOS WARD, age 69 of Faunsdale, Alabama passed August 8, 2008 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Funeral Services were held Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Hunter's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Faunsdale, Alabama. Rev. John H. Kennard officiated. Interment followed in First Baptist Cemetery, Faunsdale, Alabama.

Amos Ward was born August 4, 1938 tot he parentage of Robert Anderson and Emma Jane Rhone who preceded him in death. Amos joined El Bethel Baptist Church, Uniontown, Alabama and later at Hunter's Chapel Baptist Church. Amos leaves to cherish his loving memories a devoted father, Robert Anderson of Cleveland, OH; five children, Della (Jackson) of Locheldrake, NY, Derrick Ward, Oakland, CA, Julius Smith of Locsheldrake, NY, Breston and Bryant Crawley, both of Uniontown, AL; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Smith, Columbus,OH, and Susie (Archie) Smothers of Ft. Wayne, IN: one aunt, Della Williams; one great aunt, Lula B. Robertson of Brighton, AL, one uncle, Matthew Williams; four aunts, four uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
