Mr. Alex Spencer III, of Detroit, Michigan, a former native of Coatopa, Alabama entered into eternal rest February 15, 2013 in a Southfield, Michigan Hosptial.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bethel-Pine Baptist Church, Coatopa, Alabama. Rev. Floyd O. Bell, Pastor. His beloved brother, Pastor Christopher Spencer d officiate. Interment followed in the Zion Hill Cemetery, Coatopa, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with "West Alabama Largest and Most Professional Funeral Directors serving West Alabama for over 108 years." Mr. Alex Spencer is the beloved husband of Mrs. Ethel Spencer and the son of Mr. Alex Spencer Jr. and the late Mrs. Bessie Matthew Spencer of Coatopa, Alabama. He also is cherish by his beloved children, Tracey, David, Darion, Darrell, Andrew and Jamal Spencer and a host of beloved siblings, nieces, nephews, and beloved family who will cherish his memories dearly. The family wishes to express sincere sympathy and appreciation for the numerous expressions of love and support shown during our bereavement.
